| Meet Jackson County Line . . . |
| Kevin Jackson has captivated audiences for years with his soothing and soulful voice. His musical stylings are deeply rooted in traditional "southern" simplicity and yet he commands the attention of any audience. He'll have you singing at the top of your lungs in your car and humming under your breath all day at work. His lyrics are seductive and will have you tangled in their web in no time. Through the years Kevin has performed with several bands and has had respectable success touring all over the South East. In addition to fronting "Jackson County Line" you can catch him singing and playing guitar with Atlanta act "The Drexlers". To email Kevin click here. |
Cade Lewis plays bass for Jackson County Line. He hates technology, showers, shaving, in any order you want to put them in, he doesn't care! He eats clam chowder cold out of the can. Cade has a self-proclaimed Paris Hilton fetish. Cade has played bass in too many bands to count. He's played pretty much every venue in the city you could think of. If you want to get to Cade send it to Matt. Like we said, he shuns anything that's more technical than using a can opener for his soup. Unless you're Paris Hilton. If that's the case, be sure to contact him directly! To email Matt (for Cade) click here.
| Matt Phillips, (in addition to being Cade's voice of reason) plays trumpet, mandolin, and harmonica for Jackson County Line. He also likes to play the ukelele while he's sitting in traffic! If you have a question that no one else knows the answer to, he's your guy (unless it has to do with geography or math!). In addition to playing every instrument under the sun, Matt is also a wonderful graphic designer and has designed the band logo as well as all the band fliers. In his spare time he repairs all kinds of instruments and illustrates children's books. To email Matt click here. |
Steve Warner not only has megalomaniacal taste in belt buckles but is a damn fine drummer!!! When he’s not with Jackson County Line he also plays with a few other Atlanta area bands, does post production audio and video work in the Atlanta area, and continually practices perfecting the art of playing the worlds smallest maracas. | Tim Anderson is a cellist and a teacher in the Atlanta area. He has worked as a studio musician on dozens of local and national acts. He plays cello, an occasional bit of guitar or violin, and sings back up with Jackson County Line. He spends some of his free time with Kevin in "The Drexlers" and the rest with Presto, the magnificent dog and Tricia, the amazing wife. To email Tim click here. |
We welcome Jonny D. as the newest addition to Jackson County Line. He brings with him a collection of guitars including the pedal steel, the venerable telecaster-b bender, and a variety of high and low strung strings. A veteran of the Atlanta music scene, he brings the subtle lift and the nuanced line that you didn't know was missing until you hear it. To email Jonny click here.
